Will Pratt joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet from the New Zealand School of Dance last year. As a teenager growing up in the UK, Will was a keen football player. He began taking ballet classes at 13 after tagging along with his sisters, and the next year moved to Auckland with his family.
During his final year as a student he performed in the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s Season of The Wedding. The 2007 recipient of the Todd Corporation Scholarship, Will performed in Tutus On Tour, Swan Lake and Cinderella last year.
