RNZB Launches Student Two for One Deal for Made to Move
The Royal New Zealand Ballet has launched a special student two for one offer to attend their brand new season Made to Move – three world premieres in one night.
Tertiary students are now able to buy two tickets for the price
of one to all performances of Made to Move
nationwide. Featuring three new works created specially to
celebrate the RNZB's 60th Birthday, this season is a
great introduction to dance. Andrew Simmons, creator of 2010's
A Song in the Dark, presents Of Days, a
moving, meditative piece for eight dancers, Javier De Frutos
returns to the RNZB to create The Anatomy of a Passing
Cloud, a vibrant and eclectic piece inspired by the
Pacific, and our very own Artistic Director Ethan Stiefel presents
Bier Halle, a spirited comedy set in a
Bavarian-inspired beer hall. The Wellington performances of
Bier Halle will feature Orchestra Wellington in
the pit.
Made to Move tours to seven centres around the
country - Wellington, Napier, Auckland, Takapuna, Palmerston North,
Dunedin and Ashburton - opening at the St James Theatre in
Wellington on 27 February and closing at the Ashburton Trust Event
Centre on 24 March.
The requirements of the two for one deal are as follows:
Valid for two student tickets for the price of one (plus service
fees) for all performances of Made to Move
nationwide
Valid student ID must be presented at the time of purchase. Both
student IDs are required, however only one of the students needs to
be present.
